Bondefanget i Brussel / Abus the Confiance à Bruxelles, 90 min. No/Fr (2022).
The film is a personal video essay. The work depicts some of the darker sides of Brussels and we meet people from the art community, Eurocrats in the EU parliament, homosexuals and the undocumented.
The overall theme is identity and belonging from a European perspective.
The work is made in two versions, one with Norwegian and one with French voiceover. Together, both films constitutes the work.
The work has received support from: Arts Council Norway, The Audio and Visual Fund, Norwegian Visual Artists Fund and The Norwegian Photographic Fund.
